Eligibility
To become a participant in the Upward Bound Program, students must have completed the 8th grade, be between the ages of 13 and 19 years old, and have a need for academic support in order to pursue a program of postsecondary education.
All students must be from low-income families and/or be potential first-generation college students, a U.S. Citizen or have a valid Visa.
Most importantly, students need to demonstrate a DESIRE and the ABILITY to succeed in high school and GRADUATE from a four-year college. Students are selected based on recommendations from local educators or other interested parties.
