  Syllabus for Psych 25 Spring 2010.

CHDV 1:  Meets Wednesday evenings at MPC's Marina Education Center.  If you are a child care provider, you may check out a textbook for this class from the MPC library for the semester.  You are welcome to purchase the book either new or used.  If you purchase a new book you will also get access to the book's internet website which has many cool features.  But this is not required for the evening section of this class.  The book for this class is Laura Berk's Infants, Toddlers and Adolescents, 6th edition.  If you are buying the book new, the ISBN is 9780558103071.

CHDV 56:  Meets Saturday mornings at MPC's Marina Education Center, 9 a.m. to noon.  The textbook can be purchased at the MPC bookstore, and is available through NAEYC (www.naeyc.org):

IMPORTANT NOTE For all CHILD CARE Providers:  If you are a child care provider, you may check out books for some CHDV classes from the MPC library.  You need to show proof of registration.  We have books thanks to the Monterey County Child Care Planning Council for the following courses:  CHDV 1, CHDV 51, CHDV 55, CHDV 80.  Additionally, Women's Programs located on the top floor of the Social Sciences Building on the main MPC campus has books for many other classes available for semester check out.  They start distributing them 2 weeks before the start of the semester.  You just need to bring proof of registration.  These go fast, so don't delay in trying to get a book for one of your GE classes.
