Work Performed

Work activities in this group primarily involve setting up, adjusting, and operating data processing, typesetting, linotype, duplicating, addressing, and similar commercial machines. The work is usually specialized and workers spend a majority of their time at their machines, functioning accurately and at high speed.

Ability and willingness to follow instructions in performing work of a routine, organized nature; attention to detail and good reading comprehension in order to avoid clerical errors; form and spatial perception, eye-hand coordination, and finger and manual dexterity for using machines; and an inclination toward working with machines.
