If you have a question for a counselor, you may be a candidate for the Online Advisor feature of the MPC Counseling website.   Before you use this service, please check our Frequently Asked Questions to see if your question has already been answered.

Questions should be brief and relate to academic advising issues only.  Personal or career counseling issues are not appropriate for email dialogue.  Questions of a sensitive nature or answers requiring a lengthy response, we will request that you schedule an appointment with a counselor by calling 831-646-4020.

You are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor to develop an academic plan and update it regularly.  Also, keep apprised of the program, general education, and policy changes that inevitably occur.  Meetings with a counselor will ensure that you are taking the appropriate courses to reach your goal.

Please note that during the busy periods of the academic year and the summer months, students using Online Advisor may not receive a response in a timely manner.  If you do not receive a response within 48 hours and your issue requires immediate attention, it is advised that you contact the Counseling Department at (831)646-4020.
