To be eligible for EOPS you must have at least one “educational disadvantage” as defined by the CA Community Colleges Chancellor’s office. These include:

• Not currently eligible to enroll in the Associate Degree level of English and/or math at MPC, per the results of Placement Tests or current enrollment in basic skills English and/or math course.

• Not have graduated from high school nor have earned a GED or other recognized high school diploma equivalent.

• Graduated from high school with a GPA below 2.5.

• Have previously enrolled in a basic skills English and/or math course in high schools or college.  High school and /or college transcripts must be provided for this eligibility factor.

• Other disadvantage criteria as outlined in EOPS regulations and approved by the Program Director.
