What’s unique about
our team:
As community college
students, our team is made up of very diverse people, ranging from age
sixteen to…(well, some won’t tell!)…all of whom have much to offer from
robotics, mechanical and electronic engineering, video & photography,
drafting and CAD, writing, communication, leadership and, of course,
Playstation II skills! This has been beneficial as well as
challenging. To make it work, we had to learn how to compromise and
work together as a team. During our first meeting our lead instructor,
Susan Phillips, gave us a handout entitled, “What makes a good team?”
We have epitomized that handout and have learned to work together to
capitalize on our diverse skills and resources. This, perhaps, is our
greatest triumph! Another notable distinction is our team cheerleading
squad. Our cheerleaders are beyond compare and set our team apart from
the rest! We are a team with spirit and we are ready for competition!
