 Connectors of Cause and Result

Subordinate Conjunctions:  because, since, as

Coordinate Conjunction:  so

Transitions:  Therefore, Thus, As a result, Consequently, For this reason,

 

Because Banderas was late to class, Mr. Nelson dropped him.

Banderas was late to class, so Mr. Nelson dropped him.
