Course Description: Survey of major issues associated with doing business in an international environment. Topics include: International trade, balance of payments, cultures, politics, and international management strategies.
Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
F Demonstrate an understanding of international business concepts and practices.
F Appreciate cultural differences in business dealings.
F Identify trade issues and ethical considerations in the international arena.
F Recognize the impact of technology on the growth of international business.
F Identify successful management strategies used in international companies.
