How to locate course reserve materials at the MPC library Catalog:

§        From mpc.edu  click on “Library” to get to the home page.

§        Then under “Books and More” select “Library Catalog” and then “Local Catalog.”

§        This takes us to the MPC catalog where the default search is keyword search.

§        By clicking on the course reserve tab, you can search by department.

§        In our example, we click on “Course Reserves” and then we select the Interior Design department in order to locate reserve materials for that department.

§        We select the department, click “Search” and we retrieve twelve items.

§        Other search options include searching by instructor name or course name.

§        In our next example, we’ll change the department to “any” and then we’ll indicate we want to search for reserve materials placed there by Dr. Caroline Carney.

§        Dr Carney has forty items on reserve.

§        Once you’ve located items, ask for them at the library circulation desk
