Geology 2 is a Physical Geology course based on 26 half-hour videos,
required lab exercises, and two required field trips.

The six topics (or modules) of The Earth Revealed videos encompass
26 short programs hosted by geologist James L. Sadd.

Lab exercises demonstrate the scientific and analytical methods by
which geologists and other earth scientists interpret the Earth's
processes and features.

The field trips are intended to allow students to apply the theoretical
principles and analytical methods of geology to physical geological
evidence, while at the same time fostering an awareness of the
geologic processes and features of their immediate environment.

These lecture notes are intended as a study guide, to help students
understand and focus on the principles and concepts presented in the
book, on the  videos, in the lab, or on the field trips.
