Projects Funded by Advocacy Work for Women & Children in Morocco

We can make a difference in the lives of others...

A loom and more supplies will enable Nizha, a Berber girl in the Ourika Valley, to make more rag rugs, that she can sell to bring in some income for her family.  That will ease the pressure for her to stay at home, and allow her to return to school.  Donations that I sent to her family went toward this purchase.

Morocco Education for Girls:

I collected donations from my two slide shows on Morocco, held in Monterey, CA, and sent the funds to the Morocco Education for Girls (MEG), which enabled them to supply one of their pilot preschools with educational resources during the spring of 2002.  Here are some pictures of the children who were assisted through these donations.
