Things to do by the end of Week 13 of Chemistry 1A.

If necessary, reread Chapter 8 and 9 of Chemistry, The Molecular Science by Moore, Stanitski, and Jurs. Read Chapter 10 of Chemistry, The Molecular Science by Moore, Stanitski, and Jurs.

Study the following objectives in the Chemistry 1A booklet. 

All Chapters 8/9 objectives

Write out sample short answers for objectives 56 and 57 for Chapters 8/9.

Make study sheets for

  Predicting molecular polarity (page 194 in the booklet)

  Predicting types of attractions and relative strengths of attractions (pages 195-197)

Begin to study for the Exam 3. Although you should be able to meet all of the chapter objectives, you might pay special attention to the following.
