Things to do by the end of Week 7 of Chemistry 1A.

Read Chapter 6 and, if necessary, reread sections of Chapter 5 of Chemistry, The Molecular Science by Moore, Stanitski, and Jurs.

Study the following objectives in the Chemistry 1A booklet. 

Objectives 1-32

Make Study Sheets (or at least study my Study Sheets) for the following. 

  Writing equations for acid-base reactions (See pages 92-94)

  Assigning oxidation numbers. identifying substances that are oxidized and reduced, and identifying oxidizing and reducing agents (See pages 94 and 95)

  Equation stoichiometry problems involving both masses and molarities (See pages 100 and 101.)

  Titration problems (See page 102.)
