Exercise - Precipitation Reactions:   Predict whether a precipitate will form when each of the following pairs of water solutions is mixed. Although reactions may not take place between all of these combinations, the reactions that do take place form substances used in water purification, paint pigments, storage batteries, cattle feed, meat tenderizers, and ceramics. If there is a precipitation reaction, write the complete and net ionic equations that describe the reaction.

a.  CaCl2(aq) + Na3PO4(aq)

b.  KOH(aq) + Fe(NO3)3(aq)

c.  NaC2H3O2(aq) + CaS(aq)

d.  K2SO4(aq) + Pb(NO3)2(aq)
