Naturally, I can't tell you the
exact topic of the final exam but it will be a pro/con paper, like Essay 5, on
a social problem. We will discuss two social problems in a general way in
class and then on the final I will ask you a more focused question on each of
these problems. You will choose one to write on.
It might be a good idea to review
the checklist one more time.
Remember, start with the
ideas. Spend some time thinking, taking notes, clustering, pre-writing--
however you like to do it-- before you begin writing, organizing, checking
grammar...
