Fragments (frag)

A fragment is a clause that is incomplete, either because it
is missing a subject, or a complete verb, or because it does not contain an independent clause.
 

Subject missing:

    1.  José doesn't like grammar because are too many rules!
    2.  Something is wrong with Hilda.  Goes to sleep at
         6:00 every night.

Incomplete verb:

    3.  Putting work before self and family.
    4.  The Golden Gate bridge beautiful.

No independent clause:

    5.  José doesn't like grammar.  Because there are too many
         rules.
    6.  According to a survey in McCall's in which 80% of
         husbands work long hours.
