Statement of Purpose: The purpose of the Monterey Peninsula College Family and Consumer Science Historic Textile Collection is to preserve and study items of historical significance to the fields of apparel, textiles and interior design. The collection is designated as permanent (rare and valuable), or teaching (available for hands on classroom use). The Teaching collection is not cataloged.
