ROV Classroom Outreach

sponsored by the Monterey Bay Aquarium

ROV's in the Classroom
The Monterey Bay Aquarium has developed ROV in a Bag, a hands-on outreach program suitable for grades 4 through 12. ROV in a Bag provides students with the opportunity to learn about buoyancy, density, deep sea exploration and robotics as they design, build and test their own Remotely Operated Vehicle. Thirty students at a time may participate in this 90-minute program. ROV in a Bag is a great preparation for the Underwater Robotics Contest sponsored by Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center at Monterey Peninsula College.
How do I get the program to my school?
