*Propellers and motors are available for purchase from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The propellers and motors are available to contest participants. The motors are NOT waterproof. The Aquarium will not be responsible for motor failures before or during the contest. These motors will run underwater with the propellers provided at 5 amps. Your ROV is limited to 7amps of power. 3 propellers (these may be purchased from the Monterey Bay Aquarium) Roller pins-3/16" (available at most hardware stores) are one way to ensure a tight fit between the shaft and the propeller. The props sold through the aquarium are fitted with a custom made fitting that allows them to be attached and detached. |
