The short writing assignments for this course include: summary/responses to articles assigned, journal writing, sentence combining and grammar focus activities, and peer review. The longer assignments are listed below. This list may be modified during the semester.

Borderline grades will be affected by attendance and class participation. Late papers are marked down 5 points automatically and additional points are deducted for each day late. Papers not turned in at the beginning of the class are considered late. After one week, I have the discretion of not accepting a late paper at all.
