Required Materials: New Interchange 1 student/workbook/video Ch. 1-8 (available at MPC bookstore); a 1" 3-ring binder that you bring each class; tab dividers, pen, pencil. Ms. May will give you handouts to put in your binder.

Course Description: The purpose of this course is to improve your reading, vocabulary and speaking skills.

Student Learning Outcomes:  read simple passages of English; demonstrate competency with adequate vocabulary on subjects studied in the course

Attendance: It is very important that you come to class each day on time. It is also important that you do your homework before class each day.

  • Final exam: Our final exam will be Week 16, and we will have a class potluck on Tuesday during Finals Week.
