• Essay Requirements

1. 6-7 pages including Works Cited list

2. Double-spaced; 12pt font; 1 inch margins on top, bottom, right, and left; justified to the left.

3. Student Name, ENG1A, Instructor Name and Date in upper left corner of first page

4. All pages required to have a Header and Student’s name and page# on the right

5. An original  title goes at the top of the first page (centered)

6. Every paragraph must be indented and include a topic sentence, supporting sentences (minimum 5-6 sentences each paragraph)

7. The organizational structure of the paper must include an Introduction, Body and Conclusion.

8. All direct quotes, paraphrasing and factual information must be cited

9. Plagiarism will result in an F for the entire paper.

10. Paper will be relatively error free

11. The Works Cited  must in MLA style with a minimum of 6 sources
