Freeware that's really convenient to use. Draw a structure, select it and copy directly to MS Word™ with no hassles. Different look than with CS ChemDraw™ . I used ISIS to do the benzene icon for the organic sites.

A survey by one British chemsite had MS IE™ a 3:1 favorite over Netscape™ but you need both, for reasons you'll soon see. Please, Mr. Gates, let's make IE a bit more plugin-friendly -- I'm tired of having to use Netscape to access a handful of really good Chime sites. 4.75 or 4.76 works fine with CHIME -- in fact, for some perverse reason, as explained by Eric Mertz at his World Molecular Visualization site, many CHIME sites don't work well with MS IE; nonetheless, beware newer Netscape versions, especially the dreaded Netscape 6 !!!! Makers of really useful software -- some of it available free! ACD ChemSketch, HNMR, CNMR, .... some of it is compatible with CS ChemOffice as well.
You can download a free trial version. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to after I've asked them a few questions. The licensed version is currently $79.95 for academic users and has a long list of features. I appreciated that they have a "known issues and bugs" page [it's quite short].
