ROV Competition

Six courses were rewritten to provide the students with exposure to a range of technologies that are utilized in underwater systems.  MATE materials are used in all six classes.

Students piloted their ROV in an exhibit at the Aquarium of the Pacific during "Diver's Day" on March 12, 2005:

ROV Competition

Monica's 9th grade marine seminar class spends part of the year learning about marine technology. They build small ROV's and have a competition similar to the Summer Institute competitions. The students write technical reports and do formal presentations.
